The Data Engineer will drive the Site towards process excellence in all functions and create an environment to achieve a high level of process enhancement, efficiency and process automation. The Data Engineer is expected to develop and implement the appropriate infrastructure (system, software, processes, procedures, and tools) to ensure that the financial goals and objectives of the project at hand are reached.  This includes ensuring that an effective changes management process is in place which includes documentation and approval process. The infrastructure should be audited routinely to ensure that it is effective and meets the organizations requirements. ​


  • Develop the vision of Digital Twin and work on its development and deployment leveraging right data points to meet business requirements ​
  • Provide direct input into long term technology and digital roadmap strategy for the  Site to ensure that solutions align with company strategy and will have a significant impact on operational readiness, customer experience and financial ROI. ​
  • Establish relevant KPI dashboards to graphically monitor KPI and to measure process efficiency. Support monthly reporting requirements. ​
  • Manage Aveva Net, ensure that routine checks are made of the system, identify gaps or improvement opportunities, propose solutions taking best practices into account, and work with the software vendor to ensure improvements are made in a timely manner. ​
  • Participate and contribute in cross-functional project teams to improve project processes and systems. ​
  • Screen industry trends on process enhancement and automation tools and develop concept to implement modern industry standards at the site. ​
  • Support Controller as needed. ​
  • Develop necessary information system infrastructure to support the  Site’s mission. 



  •  Bachelors' degree in engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience is required.  ​
  • This position requires experience with SAP, SharePoint, Power BI or Tableaux, and familiarity with investment projects. Agile experience is a plus ​
  • Must maintain high level of integrity and dependability. ​
  • Must have strong analytical skills, and be willing to constantly challenge  the “status quo” by thinking “outside of the box”. ​
  • Must be an effective communicator. ​
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize work, with a strong sense of urgency    and results-orientation.​


 Must have the ability to effectively collaborate with senior management, integrated project teams), project partners and the company’s regional and global management. ​
