This vacancy is specifically for remote working from Home office with regular visits to the HQ, in Germany. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Being the main contact to our existing and new potential customers in the assigned territory
  • In charge of maintaining and developing profitable growth for the Business Unit in a sustainable way
  • Actively identify new customers and collaborate cross-functionally to identify new applications using your technical and product expertise (material selection, design recommendations, process optimization, etc.) and close business opportunities at existing and new customers.
  • Providing basic technical support and support launch of new products
  • Support marketing requests from HQ like forecast, market studies, competitor information etc.
  • Fulfilling ESHQ responsibilities and working in compliance with Röhm rules and guidelines
  • The vacancy requires regular travel to the following countries but is not limited to: Germany, Sweden and Great Britain. Therefore home office in northern Germany is preferred (Netherlands, Scandinavia to be discussed). 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in one of the following fields: Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or Materials Science. Preferably with additional business degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in the chemical or plastics markets selling to key decision-makers.
  • Strong sales capabilities in building personal relationship on top of technical affinity. Working experience in an intercultural environment is required.
  • Affinity & experience with the Automotive, Lighting, Home Appliances & Extrusion Industry preferred.
  • MS Office and CRM skills are required (SAP skills preferred)
  • Fluent in English and German (extra language such as Swedish or Dutch is preferred).
