Our IPAT program provides the opportunity to start a management career in the area of production and technology at Röhm. It combines the advantages of an entry position with full responsibility and the benefits of a trainee program. As part of your two assignments over the course of 36 months (of which 12 months are abroad), you will get to know multiple locations within our organization and gain comprehensive insights into an internationally operating company. Highly experienced executives from production and technology will be your mentors. You will also undergo development measures to gain professional and methodological skills and are invited to participate in our Professional Development Program.
Our International Production and Technology Program (IPAT) is expected to start in October 2022. Recruitment Days will be held in Germany (Darmstadt) July 2022.


As part of our program

  • You will be familiarized with different positions in our organization, e.g. Assistant to the Plant Engineer/Plant Manager or Junior Project Engineer and be given responsibility for your tasks
  • You will be given an introduction to the operational business as well as gain insights into the strategic side of production and technology
  • You will get to know organizational units in different locations and different countries
  • You will have the opportunity to develop a network



  • You have completed your studies with a master’s degree, German diploma degree with an above average grade, engineering or process technology or chemistry, ideally with a doctorate
  • You have gained initial practical experience in an industrial environment, for example, through internships, and have ideally spent a semester abroad
  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken (Level B2 of the CEFR)
  • You have a distinct interest in digitalization and ideally initial experience with industry 4.0
  • You are nationally and internationally mobile with good intercultural skills.
  • You have the ability to view facts from different perspectives and to develop creative solutions
  • Your strengths include an entrepreneurial mindset, a developed sense of responsibility and the ability to work self-motivated
  • You have excellent communication skills and you are a team player
