Our Process Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of process engineering as a support function to production for the safe and efficient operation of all process equipment and will lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives  




  • Develop and implement process improvements in a PSM environment
  • Optimize processes to meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain process-related documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, etc.)
  • Coordinate both equipment and facilities plant changes as requested by the direct reports or the production department
  • Coordinate plant changes to improve plant yields, equipment, reliability, process quality, and process robustness.
  • Supervise and prepare estimates for capital projects and drive the budgeting process.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and manage engineering contractors and sub-contractors, including the monitoring of man-hours, invoices, and general project costs.
  • Prepare and submit to leadership, monthly summarizing the status of ongoing capital projects.
  • Ensure that adequate process-related equipment maintenance systems and programs are in place and are operating in a safe and efficient manner while meeting or exceeding all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that prompt and effective reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents are carried out by the Engineering and support staff.
  • Accurately adheres to the documentation requirements for the Management of Change (MOC) process.  




  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field required
  • Five or more years of proven experience within a PSM environment
  • Previous experience within a chemical manufacturing environment and union environment
  • High level of interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motived individual, adept at balancing multiple tasks or projects including managing competing priorities and successfully meeting deadlines
