RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for managing, coordinating, and assigning work to the maintenance staff while successfully completing other maintenance tasks and efforts around the facility.  

 

Responsibilities at a high level will include but not limited to: 

  • Performs all duties in a safe and orderly manner, according to SOPs and accurately uses all safety equipment while adhering to safety requirements  
  • Aware of environmental concerns and operational hazards to prevent accidents to personnel and equipment while protecting the environment  
  • Supervise the work environment and support the correction of unsafe practices on the part of your fellow workers then discuss variances with the co-worker involved, and if corrective action is not taken advise the Maintenance Manager. 
  • Coordinate the training for new maintenance staff 
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP of work completed then accurately file paper copies on the preventative maintenance plans 
  • Monitor the Safety and Environmental Preventive Maintenance schedule so that critical equipment service and inspections are completed on time 
  • Purchase spare parts and supplies via SAP 
  • Ensure that eyewash, fork truck, and waste drum inspections have been completed 
  • Assist and work with other maintenance staff to complete electronic and mechanical repairs 
  • Aware of accurate operation of all equipment to include oscilloscope, volt and amp meters, digital and analog meters, laptop processors, pneumatic calibrating equipment, and other diagnostics equipment  
  • Attends required meetings and trainings related to responsibilities and actively looks to increase skill set including, decision making, critical thinking, communication, and team-building skills 
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in electrical/electronic and instrument work, and/or an Associate Degree in electrical, electronic, instrument-related field a related field  

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience highly preferred 

  • Strong understanding of maintaining and working knowledge of plant equipment both mechanical and electrical; strong mechanical background a plus 

  • Ability to ready electronic prints with appropriate symbol recognition 

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with PLCs and ladder logic diagrams 

  • Ability to troubleshoot 480V machine control systems which will include PLC’s, relay logic components, 4-20 milliamp components, and more 

  • Able to properly use a multi-meter 

  • Work from verbal and written instructions, including blueprints, schematic diagrams, sketches, and bills of materials 

  • Self-motived individual, adept at balancing multiple tasks or projects including managing competing priorities and successfully meeting deadlines
