OVERVIEW

 

The Project Engineer will ensure that equipment and facilities are properly installed and/or modified as required.  To provide practical, economical, and timely technical solutions to problems.  Provide engineering support to Manufacturing and Maintenance as necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Collaborate with the operations and compliance teams to prepare concise, well written capital  requests that clearly identify the problem, solution, benefits, alternatives considered, and the degree of risk which may be encountered.
  • The orderly and rapid completion of projects assigned in the most economical and timely manner consistent with good engineering and safe work practices. 
  • The supervision and control of all personnel working on assigned projects to ensure that they are completed satisfactorily.
  • Ensure new equipment is designed and installed to allow seamless transfer to operations and maintenance including maintenance instructions, prints, standard operating procedures, and documentation are available.
  • Keep documentation, drawings, P&IDs updated and current.
  • The employee must be conversant with applicable safety, loss prevention, and environmental standards of the Company, business group, and plant.  The employee must also be aware of the regulatory requirements and must implement those standards as specified in the standards and regulatory requirements in this work assignment.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

2-5  years of experience in Engineering, Operations or Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Human relations skills

Capable of managing budgets and timelines
