WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS
As Senior Accountant, you are responsible for providing insight into the legal entity’s Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow to internal and external stakeholders. For this you will be involved in executing period end activities, ensuring uninterrupted processes in accordance with policies and procedures, preparing and analyzing (statutory- and other) financial statements, supporting audit when requested and filing requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Take a lead role in the month-end closing activities ensuring the monthly operating results are accurate, complete, and reported in a timely manner consistent with the deadlines established by Global Reporting.

Implement new accounting principles and policies ensuring all accounting is in accordance with global requirements and IFRS/GAAP.

Reconcile complex account balances including rebate & bonus accruals, inventory reserves, GR/IR accounts and others as assigned.

Perform product costing, inventory analysis and revaluations including Intercompany Profit Elimination, Obsolescence, NRV.

Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory leadership and oversight.

Payroll and bank accounting.

Fixed Asset accounting.

Assist with external & internal financial audits providing supporting documentation as requested and implementing audit recommendations.

Support external reporting requirement / deliverables.

Drive improvement, simplification, and standardization of General Ledger related processes & procedures (and align within the region).
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.

4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience highly desirable.

Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

Experience in SAP.

Strong Excel Skills (V-Lookups/Pivot tables).

Strong Analytical & Communication skills.
