You can expect development opportunities for your future with us. This position is hybrid, i.e. up to 50% working from home with regular attendance at headquarter in Darmstadt is possible. The position is permanent and can be filled at the earliest possible date.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You take responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the existing business and for developing profitable and sustainable growth with the Global Key Accounts of the Business Unit Molding Compounds. You will actively identify new market potentials, trends and customer needs and turn business opportunities into success.
  • You are right in the middle of it: You will handle global pricing and contract negotiations with global key customers and be a key link between customers and our internal regional automotive teams
  • Your support is needed: Building global relationships with key customers and promoting our product range through technical presentations and participation in events, exhibitions and trade fairs with a focus on the automotive industry
  • Your expertise is in demand: Your commercial expertise is complemented by an understanding of technical aspects/contexts in the plastics sector.
  • The position requires availability in regional time zones (Asia, Europe, America). Up to 30% domestic and international travel time may be required.

 

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

  • First of all, your personality: You are characterized by a high level of motivation, a genuine passion for our business and a conscientious approach to work. You like to work cross-functionally with people from different cultures and you enjoy working successfully in a matrix organization and an international environment
  • Strong sales and communication skills in addition to technical affinity are key success factors
  • You are familiar with the automotive industry
  • Analytical, holistic thinking and quick comprehension skills
  • Master's degree in one of the following fields: Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or Materials Science. An additional degree in economics is an advantage
  • At least 10 years of field sales experience in the chemical or plastics market selling to key decision makers
  • Expertise in MS Office and CRM; Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Business fluency in German and English, spoken and written. Further languages are desirable
