WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide full range to technical service to customers/distributors/sales team for trouble shooting, product screening, testing and training;
• Proactively collect & analyze market information including competitors, formulators, technology providers, and local authorities;
• Understand and consolidate customers´ commercial and technical needs and opportunities;
• Work closely with other functions, e.g. key account management, sales, lab, marketing and production;
• Identify new business and/or new projects, and manage the I2P pipeline together with technical/commercial team;
• Provide in-depth evaluation through the value chain to propose & support the development / implementation of growth strategy including target markets / growth potentials / value propositions etc.;
• Support or lead other strategic projects in the region;

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• University graduate in Chemistry/polymer fields, and at least 8+ years working experience related to innovation or technical service;
• People who can work independently in a diversified organization, who enjoys different cultures and are fluent in both English and Chinese;
• Effective team player with strong initiatives and motivation;
• Experience in Paints and Coating industry is preferred, and footprint in adhesive industry would be a plus;  
• Like travelling (30%+ working time) across Asia;
• Be creative and like to work on new topics with new approaches; 
• Strong interest to develop new business in different industries; ​​​​​​​
• Strong technical competence in coating/ink/adhesives;  
• Capability to manage and adapt the changes;
• Interpersonal skills and networking capabilities are required;
• Good English language skills both writing and speaking.
