PURPOSE
- Responsible for Bulk Monomer business in the Indian Subcontinent (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka).
- First level for customer: Marketing, sales, technical representation and service in the country.
- Manage the India business to achieve results by managing the performance management tools by Roehm.
- Work as a core team member in Asia business team to achieve business target.
- Work out the business tactic in Indian Subcontinent and support Bulk Monomer Asia/Global strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Negotiate of contract terms (with regard to) such as quantity, payment terms and conditions or delivery terms and conditions.
- Negotiate the price (within the price range); Prepare and negotiate sales or other product related contracts.
- Discuss individual complaint procedure with the customer.
- Analysis of market development and potentials, propose ideas for improving own market position and exploitation of potentials.
- Observe, analyze and report competitors´ marketing activities and strategies (e.g. products, personnel, processes) to support competitive benchmarking.
- Contribute to local product management and innovation; Coordinating with local and global Innovation Management to provide adequate tech support to customer.
- Decide on local distribution channels; Monitoring, motivating and providing adequate support to distributor to ensure profitable business through distributor channel.
- Generate, evaluate and report market and competitive information to ensure competitive advantage.
- Provide high quality and complete data input to ensure a proper market and account management.
- Conduct and control all elements of basic sales process and manage a small customer service team.
- Contribute to local marketing strategies & Do local marketing; Identify and propose effective promotional activities like advertisements / Exhibitions/ Conferences.
- Manage chemical stock to better serve customers in an intelligent way.
- Be a pivotal player in increasing Bulk Monomer sales in India.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Chemistry with minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Familiarity with Coating Industry and related Industry in India is essential.

Knowledge of requirements to manage dangerous chemical products in India is a plus.

Highly motivated with a sales-oriented personality.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team player and able to work independently.

Willing to travel all over India.
