WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS
The Chemical Sales Specialist Intern (part-time) will actively contribute to the validation and expansion of the customer base for methacrylate resins in the Coatings segment, ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities.The focus of this position for up to 12 months is to support the business in accelerating the qualification of new leads and expanding market intelligence in the Americas.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Gain hands-on experience in customer prospecting and market analysis to identify high-potential opportunities.
· Identify potential customers for methacrylate resins.
· Validate leads and database updates within the CRM (RLOP).
· Execute prospecting activities and collection of key customer information.
· Conduct market analysis as needed of potential customers.
· Execute initial sales activities.
· Provide valuable data analytics and insight for strategic sales planning.
· Assist sales in other duties as it relates to customer generation.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
· Junior or Senior college students studying Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
· This is a paid internship not designed for college credit. Students who wish to obtain credit would need to work through their college directly.
· Strong Understanding of chemical principles and applications.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
· Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented with a hunter mindset.
· Familiarity with CRM tools and proficiency in MS Office Suite is a plus.
· Willingness to work on-site at the Parsippany, NJ office, four days per week with remote work on Fridays.
