WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

Responsible for maintaining production equipment and site infrastructure including all mechanical, equipment.  Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical,  plant air, pneumatic, vacuum, and hydraulic systems to the component level. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Troubleshoot mechanical process and infrastructure equipment.  Develop plan for and perform repairs. 

  • Comply with all regulatory and site ESHH requirements for safe maintenance repairs.   

  • Perform preventative maintenance as assigned and required.     

  • Perform process equipment product changes on sheet extrusion line and related equipment.   

  • Complete all spare parts search, use, documentation for replenishment and inventory control per training.   

  • Detailed knowledge of SAP transactions for the for initiation of, use of and completion of Work Orders and appropriate work documentation.   

  • Be current in all training profile requirements. 

  • Other tasks as assigned by Area Manager. 

 

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

  • High School or GED is preferred. 

  • 1-5 years of experience in mechanical work. 

  • Person trained to achieve 50% competency in less than 6 months, 90% competency within 12 months.   

  • Expert Computer knowledge (primarily SAP & Microsoft Office) including reading drawings, programming and other digital tools. 

  • Knowledge of raw materials specifications,  product specifications and customer requirements.
